Cloud migration

From SafeQ 5 or 6 to the cloud. Without print downtime.

Running on-prem YSoft SafeQ and considering the cloud? Migration is not a leap into the unknown — it's a managed project with an audit, a pilot and a clear rollback plan, run together with your IT.

How migration works

Four steps from audit to production

Environment audit

We map the fleet, SafeQ version, terminals, integrations and print rules.

Feature mapping

We verify everything you use today has a cloud equivalent — and what gets simpler.

Pilot

Part of the fleet switches to SafeQ Cloud alongside the current system. Users keep printing.

Rollout

Sites switch gradually, print servers are decommissioned and operations handed over.

What to consider

What influences a migration most

Embedded terminals

The cloud uses a new generation of terminals. The audit includes checking your fleet against the HCL — for most brands the transition is straightforward.

Integrations and workflows

Scan workflows, connectors (SharePoint, e-mail) and reporting have cloud equivalents; specific integrations are handled by the Pro edition via API and gateway.

Credit and paid services

Credit scenarios are covered by SafeQ 6 with the payment gateway and by SafeQ Cloud Pro — we'll pick the model matching your operations.

Parallel operation

Migration runs alongside the existing system. We switch site by site, so printing never stops.
